Dave Hyde: Taylor deserves a proper farewell
His grandfather sat at a Smith-Corona typewriter each New Year's Day and pecked out annual goals that he'd then read to the family.

Thanks Jason, and good luck playing for the Redskins.

If he wanted to be treated with respect he wouldn't have gone to fairy land and made a total a$$ of himself. He lost the respect of nearly all of his fans and teammates. Now he can go play for the most evil owner on the planet (next to Michael Jackson from Dallas) and suffer through another fruitless season before he retires for good and sticks his tongue further up Oprah's anus so she would get his "acting" career off the ground.
I used to think that he was truly a classy individual, but the simple fact that he associates with those Hollywood types tells a ton about how shallow a person he really is. |

Thanks for the memories Jason.
Maybe on the ring of fame after you retire... |

Jason,
Thank you for the memories. You deserved better than this and so did Zach but the Dolphins haven't had class since Don Shula called it a career and retired. Wayne H. is a low-class piece of trailer trash who got rich with garbage but never quite managed to wash the smell of it off him or learn how to behave like a class act. You were always a class act and watching you play was a joy--it made it worth paying for NFL Sunday ticket to watch the games last year. Thank you for 11 great years and all the best to you and your family in the future. I'm going to go burn all my Dolphin jerseys and melt down my Dolphin necklace and bracelet--they don't deserve fan loyalty from me. 22 years is long enough--and they aren't worth watching any more. All the best in Washington! Teri Davis Newman |

Not Sure Wrote
I get what you are trying to say but this blog isn't the best place to state it. He might of turned to fancy nancy last year but he's still the great number 99 that played for the Dolphins. I wish him luck. Can't wait till training camp starts. I better see results. |

he was also self centered to the extent that he lobbied against Sean Merriman his primary competition the year Taylor won the League defensive player of the year. he is hell bent on setting the record for TD's scored by a defensive linemen, which I believe he is one short of, and his off field "dancing BS" this past season. he had a great career in Miami, but he is self centered.

Dave, JT getting traded was in the cards. proper farewell? Get a grip dude. I am sure Porter will be gone also get a grip folds.

Oh please, give me a break. You can find another pretty boy on the team to root for. |

JT is a man's man and although I am no fan of Parcells, I am happy we gave sent him to a competing team and I will be pulling for the Skins next year. As soon as he retires, as well as Zack, both numbers should be retired because they meant much more to this area than what the did on the field. Two men, undersized with a heart as big as Texas, showed SFLA what class on and off the field really meant. Zack and JT never failed the Fins, the Fins failed them. Good luck to two great Dophins.

Please, Skolnik! Requisite sob story about a whining bitch.

Enjoy DC...you phony!! You were never ever a true Dolphin at heart. Go lace up your dance shoes and adjust your tutu. And don't let the door hit your rear on the way out.

How come none of you writers ever mention Taylor cheating on his wife numerous times?
Taylor is such a phony, a perfect fit for Hollywood. Later Dude. |

JT wanted to play one more season. W will not win the Eastern Conference this season. We get a second rounder next April who will be around for a lot longer than Jason.
Jason played his heart out for the Miami Dolphins. He deserves to go out on his own terms. That we can get real value for him says a great deal about both him and Parcells. |

Soos let me get this straight..he's happy to be with a winner..Redskins?
And have a shot at a ring..Redskins? I think he did what he wanted to (primadonna) The gave to you losers real hard and fast up the Kazoo! I can could see where a female poster could enjoy that, but the rest of you get screwed again..it's another 2cnd round pick. Unlike the Welker loss, i think Jason the fake will end his carrer as a Flop. He stole the MVP from Merriman lobbying everyone that he was "Drug free" while Merriman was a druggy, nice! He took his act to a new level from there where his ego needed boosting to even greater heights to where eventually he couldn't see himself playing for a "lowly" team like the Awfulins. If he was the man everybody thought he was he would have showed and helped you losers out no matter what the circumstamces. He gave up on your team, bottom line. The Redskins are far from bieng a Superbowl contender yet he's eager to show at thier training camp. Do any of yoos "thank you for the memories losers" get it yet or does somebody got to diagram it for you on a piece of paper. As for the greatest defensive player in Awfulin history.. i say Booyah! He was good only when he had good players around him. He didn't quite save your team last year. In fact he disappeared on several occassions. But to put him ahead of Standfill, baumhower, manny fernandez and Doug Betters (team players) is ridiculous. Pretty good at my Awfulin history for Jet fan, Harg! This guy's so full of himself, he must look in the mirror 5 or six times a day and say "aint i pretty" or i'm the greatest! As for the charity work he only did it to promote his business interest to sell snow cones to you losers. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHT! |

At one time I admired Dave Hyde. I must have been delusional.
How does this guy continue to get paid for this rubbish? Does he have compromising photos of someone? Maybe he can go with JT and become the beat writer for Washington. |
|

I loved this guy. I had posters all over my wall and drempt one day we could meet and go have lunch in the Grove. Pop a bottle of champagne and cross arms..while each one of us sniffed a rose..ah..yes!
Sweet memories of the guy i loved so much. Now i'll have to root for him in his little Redskin uniform...yes! |

Bye bye Jason. Another classic Dolphin swims off into the sunset. Sad, sad, beyond sad. There were many games during which you and Zach were the only guys playing. I have been a Dolfan since 1970 and I will continue to cheer for the Fins, but you will be greatly missed. Thank goodness Ricky Williams is back.

we're losers? check you facts....NY jets (nj jets) have the most losses since the merger!! www.nfl.com |
