Height: 6-2 Weight: 177
Primary position: Quarterback (dual) Secondary position: NA
Stats: Price has posted a 4.68 in the 40, a 33-inch vertical, and last season for the Braves, Price put 1550 all purpose yards both passing and rushing (1200 throwing and 350 rushing), including 16 touchdowns.

Scouting Report: Price is crazy athletic and can throw on the run with accuracy. Plus, he has a big arm and super elusive; a quarterback that is cat quick both in and outside the pocket. When being rushed, Price can elude multiple tacklers. Plus he can break down a defense with his athletic moves and get to the house. Price has tremendous upside and, once he gets into the weight room in college, you can bet he'll become a beast.

Husky fans worried about when the first commit of 2009 would happen can now rest easy. Washington received a verbal commitment today from Keith Price, the 6-2, 177 lb. quarterback out of Bellflower, Ca. The ball is now definitely rolling for the Huskies''09 recruiting effort...
"I just spoke to Coach Lappano and he's just pumped", said Price, "I told him I'm going to Washington and I'm committed, so I left a message for Coach Willingham and said I'd call him tonight because Coach Lappano said he was at the Pac-10 media day in California. I'm a Dawg."
"When I went to their camp I had a great time", Price said of his trip to Seattle last month to attend the Tyrone Willingham camp, "It was strictly business at first because I wanted to show what I could do, but after I finished I sat down with Coach Willingham and he is one of the huge reasons I want to go to Washington."
Price thought about committing on the spot back then, but held off because he wanted to talk to family members.
"Coach Willingham is such a great coach and when he talks to you, he's so intellectual and has a presence about him."
Price will be in Seattle on August 2nd for Senior Day with his grandmother, Gail.
"Also, I plan to get other players to come to Washington", said Price, "I really like Kirby Moore -- he caught everything I threw (at camp). We had a good bond like we had played together for a long time, so I'll be recruiting him and calling him to tell him to come to Washington. We got to be friends."
During the camp, Moore and Price went into the Dempsey center and were throwing the ball around -- but of all the receivers and quarterbacks that attended the camp -- these two were the only two to receive written offers shortly thereafter. Obviously, the coaches liked the tandem.
Keith Price beat out at least 10 quarterbacks that Washington took a look at during their camp in June. What he's good at is that he can throw as accurately on the run as he can in the pocket -- he has a great touch and big arm. He's very elusive in the pocket as well.
One scout said that Price may be ahead of Dennis Dixon in terms of development during his season season in high school -- Price is also a better athlete.
