Football playoff not in the picture

This is ridiculous. I am writing this primarily because of the first question and the answers that it receives--I actually couldn't stomach reading past that. It just goes to show how inadequate their answers/reasons are. In particular, the answer that is given about the play-offs growing--March Madness hasn't grown, the College World Series hasn't grown. What college championship(s) serves as the model for this prediction? Do these guys think before they speak, or are they simply throwing out convenient responses to defend a system that they don't want to change for selfish reasons? Revamp the bowl system and turn it into a play-off system, set the rules, enforce them, and move forward. Is the goal to make money or crown a champion? For crying out loud.

its a total sham. i could come up with a better way in 24 hrs than these morons. its not that difficult, they just want to scratch each others back and who knows what else! its not that hard to pick out the best 4 teams and have a simple playoff, you CAN play 2 games in a 6-8 day span so that you don't run into the 2nd semester. funny how its ok for baseball and basketball players to have games during the week in a city 600 miles away. whatever, we are stuck it seems.
