Carson Palmer: Can't stand Ohio State; USC will give them a butt-whooping

Who's Carson Palmer ?? Is he a sports analyst? Coach? Player? Former Player?? Seriously... Who's Carson Palmer?

This from a guy whose team last year lost to Stanford. And never comes to snow to play a bowl game. And who is earning a living largely at the expense of Buckeye lovers. I hope he gets run out of the state and goes back to his sorry CA lifestyle. No class. I'm not surprised he can't appreciate Ohio State. Although I will say I'm glad he's honest. Immature and an ingrate, but honest. I recommend Oakland for he and Chad Johnson. They'll be like bugs in a rug.

I don't blame Carson for making those remarks. He grew up in southern Cali, went to USC, and currently lives there. He has more of a right to dislike OSU than almost everyone else (myself included).

Read closer-the whimp tries to take it back. It is no wonder the Bengals suck-there team and their players are either primadonna's or thugs-no in between. They lack character and conviction and it shows up every Sunday on the playing field. Losers big time.

Yes-he won the Heisman, and like so many of those guys, they have a professional career of mediocrity, of which, he is well into with his career with the Bengals. I think they should clear the table-coaches, players, training crew and wait staff. Cincy has invested big time in a franchise that shows very little work ethic, character or intelligence-as was witnessed by that dumbass Palmer's comments.

So-why is it his right to hate Ohio State ?? I don't think they even played them while he was there. Explain this "right" would you ?? I know what I'd do, as soon as he stepped foot onto the field in Cincy, I think I'd have about 5,000 fans pelt him with Buckeyes. COLUMBUS (AP)— Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer is trying to explain remarks that have gotten him in big trouble with Buckeyes fans.

USC's 2002 Heisman Trophy winner told a Los Angeles radio station last week that it drives him crazy to hear all the talk about Ohio State when he's in Cincinnati. He said he can't wait until Sept. 13 when Ohio State plays Southern Cal, and he hopes the Buckeyes "get an old fashioned Pac-10 butt-whipping."

Palmer has issued a statement saying his comments were intended mainly for a California audience and that he "got a little fired up, as all good fans will do."

He also said he respects the Buckeyes and knows their fans are passionate. He said he's just looking forward to a big game and his comments were all in the good fun of a college rivalry.

How can you sit there and put down the Bengals at the expense of OSU? I'm a fan of both teams and have been for quite some years--but the fact of the matter is that while the Bengals have never won a superbowl--and the Buckeyes HAVE won a Nat'l title... College football is definitely no pro-league.

And to add onto that, OSU choked up the past two title games--so honestly, those that are strictly Buckeye fans and are dissing the Bengals? You need to shove your fist in your mouth and pray that Boeckmann can pull through this year unlike last.

The Bengals lack character UNLIKE the Buckeyes. Players contantly getting thrown in jail. No work ehtic, no class, no character-they are a DISGRACE to the hard working people of Cincinnati-Carson Palmer is a whimp and the people ought to get his pansy butt out of town. He thinks he is so much better than you folks-he doesn't even live there. I would take Boeckman over Palmer any day-and Terrel Pryor will make them both look silly in about one year.
