Right now, and I emphasize "right now", this team is playing at a level similar to typical Glen Mason teams. But those Mason teams were a lot older and didn't have half the contribution from younger talent. There is plenty of room for growth, something that wasn't existent before. I'm excited to see what this team can do in the future.

Tim, this team is 0-1 in the Big Ten. That is 0-9 since Brewster took over. You would need to look to the future for the future can be all Kool Aid, all the time.
Allow the team to win an actual Big Ten game before pronouncing it to be anythin better than what it is. Nothing is not as good as anything else.

After the first game, when I've watched this team play, their level of play rivals that of most of Mason's teams. That is what I've seen. That could all change with another 0-8 Big Ten season obviously, but I don't know what the future holds, I can only go by what I've seen thus far. You are always judged by conference wins, and Brewster has acknowledged this, but the progress is obvious. I still look forward to the future of the program.
