National television games give FAU football valuable exposure
Florida Atlantic's drive for recognition will get a boost this season as four of the Owls' games will be on national television.
FAU will be on ESPN or ESPN2 three times and on the Big Ten Network.
'We look for competitive matchups, good story lines and games the fans might want to watch,' said Michael Humes, a spokesman for ESPN, which will carry FAU games against Michigan State, Middle Tennessee and Troy.
ESPN and ESPN2 reach about 95 million households, and two of those games, Sun Belt Conference contests against Middle Tennessee and Troy, are on Tuesday nights, when it will be the only college game on.
