MADRID, Spain Sitting in the press room Sunday just minutes after coaching Team USA to its fourth consecutive gold medal, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski cracked a smile and breathed an audible sigh of relief. Next to Krzyzewski, former Blue Devil Kyrie Irving displayed a new Tissot brand watch, given to the FIBA World Cup's Most Valuable Player, after scoring 26 points on 6-of-6 three point shooting.

Fresno State football: Connette back in practice — and QB competition continues

Fresno State quarterback Brandon Connette and the passing game showed signs of life last week against Utah, with the Bulldogs totaling 283 yards through the air. Fresno State quarterback Brandon Connette was back in practice Tuesday, taking part in individual drills, throwing in 7-on-7 periods and - most importantly - taking reps in team periods as the Bulldogs worked their game plan for Saturday's game against Southern Utah.
