UConn received its second oral commitment in two days on Sunday when Tyler Bullock, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound defensive end from Mechanicsburg, Pa., accepted a scholarship offer. Bullock's commitment comes a day after the Huskies received word that Chris Lopes, a safety from Brockton, Mass., would join them in 2009. Both players earned offers after strong performances at the Huskies' summer camp, the lone occasion in which coaches can evaluate players on campus.
Current quarterback Zach Frazer also played at Mechanicsburg Area High School. Mike Osiecki, a linebacker from Seymour; Marcus Aiken, a receiver from St. Paul-Bristol; Leon Kinnard, a quarterback from Baltimore; and Malik Generrett, a receiver from York, Pa., have also committed for the Class of 2009.
