The University of Connecticut announced on Monday that quarterback Casey Cochran will no longer be an active player on the football team after suffering a series of concussions. Cochran, a redshirt sophomore from Monroe, Conn., led both New London High and Masuk High to state titles in his illustrious schoolboy career.
The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will host its first-ever Fall Puppet Performance Series on four Saturdays from September to December 2014, featuring outstanding works for puppet theater by professional puppeteers from the Northeast. STORRS, Connecticut, September 10. UNIVERSITY of Connecticut swimming coach Bob Goldberg announced two coaching moves on Tuesday, as T.J. Natal has been promoted to a full-time assistant coach, while Maiya Otsuka has been added as an intern assistant coach. Natal, who spent last season as an intern assistant coach for the Huskies, arrived in Storrs after three years at Tulane University.
