Cal may have lost the Big Three, but another trio could be on the horizon. The Bears have to move on this season without accomplished linebackers Zack Follett, Worrell Williams and Anthony Felder.

There were a few game telecasts announced Wednesday, bringing the total officially to six so far. Expect to see the Bears on television every week they play after today's announcement. Well, at least all except for the Washington State game - I won't go out on a ledge for that one.

While I agree with many of the predictions that are currently making their way around the web and in other publications, it's beginning to get a little crowded when it comes to picking the Bears to win.

Two weeks ago, after reading yet another preseason ranking, I started wondering why these rankings were already being published. For the magazines, I guess I understand - they have to publish them earlier for the masses to digest in order to make a profit. It was after reading another web-ranking that I wondered how they could be so confident in their predictions.
