The wind blew throughout Saturday's Big West Conference contest at Bagget Stadium, with Cal State Northridge bats generating much of the breeze.

The UCSB baseball team continued its streak of winning weekend series as it went 2-1 this weekend against Cal State Northridge for the team's fourth consecutive weekend series win.

Josh Gooseen-Brown went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and Cal State Northridge roughed up Hawaii starter Matt Cooper, who allowed a season-high 10 hits and seven earned runs in a 9-4 loss to the Matadors on Saturday night at Les Murakami Stadium.
