All of the things Oklahoma State needed in order to win did not happen. Oklahoma's defenders, after an embarrassment at Texas Tech, came to play.

Sorry about the delay in letters this week. I was tied up in Austin for the first two days reporting on Texas and couldn't hit my mailbag as much as I would have liked.

Oklahoma reached Nebraska territory in both of its final two possessions Saturday night, and coach Bob Stoops said if the Sooners had scored, they most likely would have gone for the win with a two-point conversion.
