Former Conway High star and Oklahoma running back Allen Patrick will get one more chance to close out his collegiate career on a positive note and prove he can play in the NFL.
After a disappointing finale in last week's Fiesta Bowl, a 48-28 loss to West Virginia, the Sooners senior has been selected to play in the Jan. 19 East-West Shrine Game in Houston.
'I just want the opportunity to show that I can play at the next level,' Patrick said after the Fiesta Bowl defeat, in which he rushed for a team-high 82 yards on 14 carries. 'I didn't want to go out like this, but maybe I'll still get a chance.' Read more
