No. 3 Alabama beats Mississippi St., 31-3

No. 3 ranked Alabama used long drives, quick strikes and a stifling defensive effort to defeat Mississippi State 31-3 and improve to 10-0 on the season in front of a Davis Wade Stadium record crowd of 58,103. Sophomore Mark Ingram rushed for 149 yards on 19 attempts including a pair of touchdowns.
