LAWRENCE | Kansas cornerback Aqib Talib went the bare-chested route, hoping sleeker aerodynamics would improve his 40-yard dash time at KU's Pro Day on Tuesday.
'That's how I've been practicing running it, so that's how I ran it,' Talib said Tuesday afternoon.
It didn't help much. Talib, considered one of the top five cornerbacks in the upcoming NFL draft, ran an unofficial 4.48 on the soft artificial turf inside the Anschutz Pavilion, about in the same neighborhood as the 4.44 he clocked at last month's NFL combine. Read more
