On the rare occasion defensive coordinator Bud Foster has taken a moment to soak in the big picture this spring on Virginia Tech 's practice fields, all of the offensive changes have created a mild source of intrigue, but they don't cause much of a discernable blip in terms of raised pulse.

A spring practice unlike any other Coach Frank Beamer has conducted will come to a close Saturday when Virginia Tech holds its annual spring game at Lane Stadium.
