The parallels between Jarvis Jones and David Pollack continued past their college days.

It was a quiet Friday night for Georgia players in the NFL draft until things got busy more than halfway through the third round.

In his final two years of college, he was the Bulldogs' leading receiver but did not live up to expectations.

The Steeler have picked Jarvis Jones the pass rushing outside linebacker out of Georgia with the 17th overall pick.

Georgia linebackers Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree were selected 17th and 30th, respectively, in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft on Thursday night in New York.
