Brooklyn Nets backup point guard Tyshawn Taylor was nothing more than an insurance policy during his rookie season of 2012-2013. It's a shame, because the University of Kansas product showed plenty of promise when starter Deron Williams missed a stretch of games due to ankle injuries.
