After losing its top two scorers from last year's 21-win squad, the Kent State men's basketball program headed into the off-season seeking scoring punch.

That's how you earn 20 or more victories 14 times in 15 seasons, a feat the Kent State men's basketball team accomplished by collecting 21 wins during the 2012-13 campaign, despite losing six of its top eight scorers from the previous season.

Kent State learned late Wednesday night that it will visit Loyola Maryland in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Greyhounds defeated Boston University 70-63 on Tuesday night in the first round of the CIT after trailing by 15 points in the second half, earning their first-ever Division I postseason victory.

KENT: After a slow first half Wednesday, Kent State players seemed to decide that even though it wasn't part of the coveted NCAA Tournament, it was still worth winning a postseason game.
