The UL Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball's team may not have enjoyed a winning record this past season, but there's certainly hope for the future.

The NABC currently has nearly 5,000 members consisting primarily of university and college men's basketball coaches who vote on the districts within Division I. The awards are presented in 24 different districts with District 6 consisting of coaches and players only from the Western Athletic and Big Sky Conferences.

Dwayne Davis and Jerrold Brooks tallied 13 points each as the Southern Miss Golden Eagles coasted to a 63-52 victory over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in the second round of the 2013 National Invitational Tournament at Reed Green Coliseum.

Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss will play home-and-homes as Conference USA members starting next season, but the two programs are getting a little practice this season.
