3 Brown Bears Receive All-Ivy Honors
The Ivy League announced its awards for the 2012-2013 men's basketball season and the Brown Bears were well-represented. Junior point guard Sean McGonagill was named First Team All-Ivy. Senior Matt Sullivan was named Second Team All-Ivy while freshman forward Cedric Kuakumensah was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year.
Brown Ends Princeton's Title Chase
Heading into Saturday night's game at the Pizzitola Sports Center, the Princeton Tigers were playing for an Ivy League title.
Pennsylvania's late comeback beats Brown 66-64
Miles Cartwright scored 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting, and he scored the final eight points of the game on free throws to beat Brown 66-64 in an Ivy League contest on Friday night.
Halpern's Heroics Lift Brown Over Columbia
When it comes to the 2012-2013 Brown men's basketball team , one thing's for sure.
On Saturday, Columbia hosts Brown at Levien Gymnasium. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. EST. The Lions lost to the Bears 58-55 on Feb.
