Full story: Chicago Tribune

Go ahead and count Jerel McNeal out. He's heard it before. Call the Marquette product too small to play in the NBA .

Shaq, Miller, Noah, and Mullen at Center next year. No Tweeners there!(Assuming the Dang and Thomas trade for Shaq)

I think BJ's agent spoke thru him because the bulls promised to pick him at 26. There are good gaurds left for the picking. Id take a shot or two at terrence williams. He is the two gaur the bulls need. Hee is the more athletic, more defensive, more NBA basketball version of the european Thabo. Best case is the bulls grab henderson, out of duke, for a more finished player and a contributer as rookie.(see cortney lee). 5 see worst case the bulls settling with hansbourgh. Proven off the bench... Lets see what happens via trade or offseason move. remember, the draft come before ben "the sixth man savior" gordon's negotiations.I hope for a sign at a reasonable price rather than a trade.best of luck.

Chicago will end up using the two first rounders along with Heinrich and TT in a blockbuster trade for someone.

One more thing.....what about inquiring about Hedo Turkoglu? I know he fizzled in the playoffs, but he'd be a nice piece to add.

Jerel was a hell of a player in college, especially defensively. While he has an ugly looking shot that he might not be able to get off cleanly in the NBA, he can knock down shots and handle the ball. He improved his range greatly between his Jr and Sr year, allowing him to step behind the line and make shots. He's not the best shooter, but he knows how to score.

He is undersized (for a 2), but has very quick hands and feet and understands how to interrupt passing lanes. I think he can be a good NBA player, and wouldn't mind him backing up Rose. Although without a 2nd rd pick, they would have to get a pick back in a bigger trade for that to happen.

It's nice everyone wants to play for the Bulls. At the Berto Center all the right things are said. Nevertheless, someone always uses the Bulls as leverage. With Mullens no doubt to gain a higher draft slot. A couple of years ago Kobe mentioned the Bulls when he had no intention of going anywhere. And that whole fiasco under Jerry Krause
with a young, healthy Tracy McGrady. Perhaps that's why the Bulls management are always so tight-lipped about drafting and trades. They are always being mentioned in false rumors by players and agents. Given that, I have no idea who the players the Bulls will draft.

What is with the Bulls and their unending fascination with small guards.

We had the all time best player, i.e. Michael Jordan, in the world and "should" know what to look for....So, GET FOCUSED and let's get rolling!

Someone intelligent (takes his own tests), athletic, with leadership qualities and basketball skills.

I like the fact Houston is losing Artest and needs a small forward and is tired of Mcgrady who just turned 30 and should be healed from his knee and shoulder injury and lookin to worth he is still a superstar who will be due a contract in 09-10. Why not package Deng and the 2 pics for Mcgrady? if it doesnt work out he is free agent following year. The salries work out we are losing Gordon's 6 million, Deng's 12 and James 6 million. We can still have room under the cap to sign another scorer such as Biby for 10-12mill for 2 years or Marion.

Starting lineup
G-Rose
SG-Mcgrady
SF-Salmons
PF-Thomas
C-Deng

Coming off bench
Hinrich
Miller
Sign FA Bibby or Marion for 8-12 only go 2-3 year contracts

Once you get tired, your defenses will be down and you'll start to fret about whatever is currently nagging away at the back of your mind. You're also concerned about the welfare of a certain person, which doesn't help.
