If a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his *ss. Jimmie drives by the same rules everyone else does. He didn't invent the "Chase" but he sure does know how to play the game. Maybe Chad and Jimmie are smart enough not to burn out their team and use up their equipment till it's time to take it to the limit. Maybe they're smart enough to understand that you don't win the championship in the first 26 races, you just qualify for the chase. Looks like there is a pretty good chance that the HMS teams will finish 1, 2, and 3 in the chase. When you're hot, you're HOT!

Oh, me too Buddy. But the reality of the situation is Jimmie is sitting where Jeff was along about 1997. Jimmie has his mojo working, the pit crew is fired up, communications are perfect, Chad and Jimmie know what each other are thinking before they even speak. They never get rattled regardless of the situation or get into pissing contests like the other drivers and crew chiefs. Regardless of what is happening, it's always the same calm, confident way of doing business. Jimmie better hope Chad doesn't get the urge to start his own race team. That's what happened to the last dream team.
