This would be absolutely huge for MWR and could spark a true evolution of the team. I think a driver like Truex could initiate more interest in the team and I could honestly see Michael stepping down to bring in a more high profile 3rd driver as his replacement. Michael is slowly becoming much more interested in being an owner rather than a subpar driver and I believe a Truex addition could really fuel the MWR fire.

Martin Truex!!! I'm sure he wants to go where he will be the top driver. I would rather see David be the top driver at MWR tho.

Well, i was hoping that Truex might replace Logano in the Home Depot car, but it looks as if that isnt goin to happen. I have to say, if there is an option to go to Stewart Haas with Bass Pro, which ive heard rumored, why wouldnt u do that instead of going to a subpar team like MWR? Look how Stewart Haas is running compared to MWR? At least you have a legitimate shot of winning a race with equipment instead of lucking into one like MWR did! No matter which place he goes to, im a Truex fan, and if he goes to MWR it first will be nice to FINALLY see Waltrip retire as i believe he'll have to as he almost couldnt find sponsorship for Reutimann and still doesnt have a sponsor locked for Reutimann for next year, and the second thing is that Truex will be the ONLY driver i like in a Toyota, although i wish he'd stay with Chevy and if he had to go to Toyota, i wish it would be the 20 car. I really think replacing Casey Mears at RCR would be a great fit too, but i havent heard anything yet of Mears being gone but hopefully soon.
I figured that whether Truex does or doesnt go to MWR, that this is Mikey's last year and that Napa sponsor could be moved to Reutimann. If they land Truex, if they could get Bass Pro they could do that but i think that Bass Pro would rather identify themselves with Stewart rather than Waltrip and would best identify with their customers on a Chevy vehicle rather than a Toyota.
If Truex does take the Napa ride, and although i think that's a mistake, it is a better step up from EGR and if they still do that deal at Napa stores where u can trade your old Napa hat in for a new one, im going to do that for a Truex one and finally get rid of my Napa hat from where Mikey drove the 15 car for DEI, the only time i ever pulled for him.
