Sliced Bread goes into the spin cycle

Full story: Farmington Daily Times

Tony didn't mean to do it. Tony Stewart didn't mean to get in the back of Joey Logano, which sent Sliced Bread up the track, smacking Reed Sorenson, whose car sent poor Logano into the air for what seemed like a gazillion times Sunday.

No, because the chase drivers are boring. Too many cautions, too many green/white/checkered flags, one driver is usually way out in front, can't speed down pit lane, can't race back to the finish line on a caution, can't talk bad about nascar, can't bump and rub, can't be aggressive, too many "competition" cautions, someone not in the chase can't be racing someone who is(drivers cry about that all the time), it's too early in the race to be racing(WHAT?), braodcasters won't say anything bad about nascar, too many sponsors, too many sponsors mentioned, restarts sponsored, trivia questions sponsored, sponsors on cars, sponsors talked about by drivers(then you go to commercials - more sponsors), the chase is boring. Anyone have more?

The chase isn't boring, we have new players, old players and past champions. There's a close race which shows how even the playing field is right now.

LOL...I thought it was a great article. Matt is a baked potato - smack down between the owners would be a sight to see and I think Tony should get back into some trash talkin'

I don't even know why they call Logano Sliced Bread -- even though I can't stand Kyle -- Logano is never going to be a Kyle Busch. They should have called Kyle Sliced Bread. Which, come to think of it, is about the most stupid driver nickname I have ever heard in my life. JMO.

Breaking News: The NFL has announced that from now on all teams will participate in the playoffs; whether the team qualifies for the playoffs off not. Critics called the plan ridiculous, but a NFL spokesman said: "Hey NASCAR does it!"

I think Stewart's nickname around the pits is Ron Jermey or the "hedgehog"

I agree. That is why I was racing. It's exciting. Like I've said in other forums.. I have been a ES fan for 5 years and will continue as long as he races. When he's done,so am I. I am not a band wagon jumper.

He's been done for a long time. What has he done in the last 5 years worth mentioning except for sueing to keep a job he can't handle.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Leo

There's an erratic quality to the day, thanks to the Full Moon in emotional Cancer, combined with a lunar eclipse. Loved ones are likely to behave in ways you hadn't counted on. The only way to cope with this is to be as flexible as possible. Someone might change an arrangement at the eleventh hour so you have to think on your feet, or others may be determined to do their own thing even though it doesn't suit you. Get any arguments out of the way quickly so you can enjoy your New Year's Eve celebrations with a glad heart.
