From pole to the winners circle that's how it's done. Good job to Vickers team.

This has been a pretty good race weekend. Two days in a row, they have played kick the can with Shrub, Jr. pulls off a good finish, my man moves to second in points, Smoke locks in the chase, a Carolina boy wins the Cup race and is sitting in catbird seat to move into the chase. Brian showed some real smarts today by just pulling up on Jimmie's rear end and letting Jimmie burn his gas splitting the wind. Mark needs to quit this trying to milk it to the chase and go back to racing before he screws up and falls out.

Harsh much? Maybe sometimes it's ok to just get a top five when you don't have a car capable of winning.

Who's harsh? I just told it like it was. You're right about top fives. That's why I'm tickled for Jeff and Jr. I didn't lie about Mark. He tried to stroke it today and it caught up with him. And Shrub got kicked around both days, especally today. I call them like I see them. Shrub doesn't intimidate anyone like he did a year ago so racing is a little tougher.

You're way off base about Mark. He lead laps til JJ ran him down. He ran top 5 all day.

Alan blew it! Should have pitted Mark on that last caution like Jr. did.

Yea, that was a big mistake for the 5 team. Their racing to stay in the chase. To take such an ignorant chance is not smart. Mark and Jimmie both had cars that could have ran down everyone in front of them in the field, just didn't make any sense to stay out. Cost Jimmie a win and may play a big factor in costing Mark a chase. Mark can't afford any mistakes now or bad luck now and that's always scary when you're on the bubble. We'll see. I think Mark will stay in, but there's no room for error now. What the hell is wrong with Chad Knaus at Michigan? If they pitted and took fuel they would have ran away with this victory. Jimmie probably would have restarted around 6-8 position with plenty of time to pass the fuel-savers in front of him. It's like Chad's brain becomes clouded every time they come to this track. They dominate the race and than give it away. Jeff always had bad luck when it came to winning at MIS too. He has a couple of wins, but he's had plenty of cars that could have won here. Seems almost like a cursed track for Jeff and Jimmie. Anyway, good driving by Brian. He did what he needed to do and was a deserving victory.

I bet you if there were a green white checkered, Jr would have been up there.

I wonder how Jackrabbit Roush is taking it considering a Toyota won in his backyard

No, I'm not off base about Mark. Mark has been racing as long Alan has been alive, maybe longer. He has responsibility just like anyone else. Sure, Alan may have made the initial decision but it wouldn't have taken anything but a firm voice from Mark saying they needed to do a splash and go to have corrected the problem. Mark is the old wise man on top of the mountain that everyone bows to and wants his advice. No, letting your crew chief back you out the tail end of the field like yesterday makes you the dummy on the mountain.

That was costly for Mark and the 5 team. He should have pitted with Junior under that last caution. Even if he only gets back to the top ten, that is still a helluva lot better then 31st.

Kick the can with Shrub!!!! LMAO!!!! Hope to see another couple rounds of it at Bristol this weekend.

Brian Vickers definetly jumped up a few spots on my list. I would love to see him make the chase now, just because it would piss Kyle off.
