Only if ALL driver's points accumulated through an ENTIRE season are held into account. Johnson and Gordon will each have 4. I ask this question, are there any differences here?

LOL Martin's good but its not how good HE is that matters. Its how bad Johnson finishes. Remember - all Martin can do is score the maximum points each race and its not good enough unless Johnson finishes poorly. Even if Martin wins and leads the most laps in the next 3 races, Johnson's gonna have to SUCK at like 2 of them.

Jimmie should'nt have been back there with drivers like Sam Hornish. I know it was only like lap 2 or 3 but that's the chance any driver takes racing with those guys. Bound to happen sooner or later to Jimmie, he lays back alot in the early part of a race not showing his real stuff til the latter part.

I dont fully blame him - he had 2 fast drivers splitting him, one gets into him and sends him into the 48 and then gets collected by it. He isn't the greatest but I wont stick him with undue blame for this even if I hated him. But he did kinda screw up on his own as well... Then again its hard staying out of the way with a screwed up car.

No one really to blame here, just one of those racing deals. I didn't see him get taken out because someone was just being stupid. These things sometimes happen, you get what you can get that day and move on to the next.

As far saying Jimmie shouldn't have been back there, we were 3 laps into the race and that's where he qualified. He had no choice but to be back there. I don't know what races some people are watching sometimes, but Jimmie just about always runs up front. Who makes this stuff up? He doesn't lay back and always come on at the end like some around here seem to think. There's a reason he's either the lap leader or close to it every year.

Anyway, like I said, I don't think there's anyone to blame here, just part of the racing game. I don't get all worried or bent out of shape when these things happen. Every driver out there has had some of these and will have more in the future. I have complete faith that Jimmie will win championship number 4 this year, just as much as I did going into Texas.

That early in the race, Johnson gave the 77 plenty of clearance. No fault there. The 77 was on the gas driving like he was supposed to. No fault there. But who's this idiot who would push that hard 3 laps in that he no longer had any clearance between his car and the one in front of him? THAT guy is at fault.

I would say that Sam Crashman and Reuti both share the fault for the 48 car getting torn up. Reuti had a faster car and was attempting to pass on Sam's bottom side and those two touch enough to send Sam up into the rear corner of the 48. Okay, that's racing. My question is: when is Roger going to offer Sam a Indy car and save himself some money? I expect that horse with wings to go flying on off that car at the end of the season.

The fact is, there was enough room between the 00 and the 77, and the person driving the car behind drove aggressively and moved the car ahead. YES it happens in racing, and yeah - Oh well - sh!t happens, but its 100% fault of the person driving their car into another car that was holding its line and minding his own business.

I'd classify that the same as a 'bump n run' move.. you don't intend to wreck them, just move them a bit and go on by. However it's not something you're supposed to do without thinking of the consequences and you're a real jack-ass if you do it when there's another car on the high side. ESPECIALLY that early in a race, and ESPECIALLY a chase contender.

00 had the epic fail, period.

It paid off the week before if you didn't notice.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aquarius

Money is a source of friction between you and friends now, so treat it with caution and respect. There could be a disagreement between you and a chum about a possession or a debt that one of you owes the other. If you're trying to organize a forthcoming social event, you could come unstuck when working out how much it's all going to cost because it might be far too expensive.
