In Conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Tuesday held a tedarus and speech at Masjid Pekan Seria, Belait District.

A total of 38 road accidents were recorded around the country from August 15 to 19, with five people sustaining minor injuries, according to police logs released yesterday by the Royal Brunei Police Force .

The Kampong Pandan Parents and Youth Movement Association recently organised a cleaning campaign at the Mile Three Muslim cemetery along Jalan Maulana in Kuala Belait.

To Accommodate the growing number of Muslim worshippers in Mukim Seria, a new mosque is being built on a three-acre site in the area of STKRJ Housing Lorong Tiga Selatan Seria.

The community hub will also see the construction of other new buildings nearby, such as a bowling centre and a 'cineplex' that is expected to develop and enhance the image of Pekan Seria, attracting locals and foreign tourists.

The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Haji Md Mandi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Abdul Rahman, visited several religious schools and mosques in Belait District yesterday.
