Lawyer: Thicke exploited in 'Blurred Lines' suit

Robin Thicke's attorney says the estate of Marvin Gaye exploited the singer's "moment of personal vulnerability" in an attempt to prove that the hit "Blurred Lines" was a ripoff of a Gaye hit. In a deposition, obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press, Thicke says Pharrell Williams did much of the writing on the Grammy-nominated song and says, "I was just lucky enough to be there when he wrote it."

Iggy Azalea's former manager claims legal right to sex tape

OK, Hefe Wine ... says the "Fancy" singer signed her legal rights over to him, allowing him to market the sex tape they made together, according to TMZ. Wine told the website the singer signed a lengthy agreement with him in 2009 -- which has reportedly been obtained by TMZ -- giving him exclusive rights to "manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise 'any' recording embodying visual images."

The music publishers for American rapper Eminem are suing New Zealand's ruling political party over the music it used in a campaign commercial. Eight Mile Style and Martin Affiliated both claim the National Party breached copyright laws by using Eminem's song "Lose Yourself."

Overturned van on A66 had been involved in high speed chase, police believe

A TEAM of detectives is investigating how a van came to be overturned on the A66 after reports it had been involved in a high-speed chase with another vehicle. Police were called out to the crashed Vauxhall Vivaro on the eastbound carriageway near South Bank, Middlesbrough at 11.45pm on Friday night.
