Patently dramatic: "The Water Engine"

The Oasis Theatre Company, newly relocated to Santa Fe from upstate New York, launches its inaugural season with David Mamet's The Water Engine . Penned in 1976, the piece began as a radio play, but Mamet soon adapted it into an effective stage work - a fable about the relationship between individual inventors and powerful corporations in the arena of technological development.
