Went to Parochial school-we had Civics classes. Wasn't my favorite subject at the time- seemed to be such a dry suject-perhaps because of the way it was presented, but apreciate having the background of knowledge about Civics, our constitution, government system of Senate, House of Representatives, Judicial and Executive Branch, how laws are introduced, the process, etc.

Every citizen who was born here needs to know at least what naturalized citizens study to become citizens.

It's embarassing how ignorant most people are about how our government functions.
