The Walt Disney Studios just revealed their updated theatrical release schedule.

The film adaptation of Into the Woods , the dark, Tony Award-winning fairytale musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine , will be released in theatres Dec. 25, 2014, Walt Disney Pictures announced June 13. Marc Platt, Marshall, John DeLuca and Disney produce the film that is expected to begin filming in London this September.

Disney did this a couple of weeks back with its animation slate. Now the studio is organizing its live-action pics for the next year or so.
