Story goes musical in film series

Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., will present the second screening of its One Story Three Versions Film Series, Thursday, Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. "In the Good Old Summertime" runs 103 minutes. The film starring Judy Garland, Van Johnson, S.Z. "Cuddles" Sakall, Spring Byington, Clinton Sundberg, Buster Keaton and Marcia Van Dyke is part of a three-part series highlighting 1940's "The Shop Around the Corner" and its two subsequent remakes, "In the Good Old Summertime" and, to be shown Dec. 28, "You've Got Mail" .
