What about the fact that every other frame actually shows the microphone. One scene even shows the entire boom microphone! Terrible editing.

I was beginning to think that the theatre
I seen the movie at (in Canada), somehow
received an unedited print.

I read many differentn reviews/comments, and your comment was the only one that I came across that mentioned something about the microphone edit bloopers. I 100% agree, terrible editing.
The worst I ever seen ... and I see many
films.

Are there not people who are suppose to be in charge of film editing? Perhaps someone felt
the kids (who are the main target audience),
wouldn't care ... or it would at least
generate some laughs!

I saw it too tonight! We were at a drive-in theater and I had to get online and find out if there was more than one version of every movie... because I can't believe they would release it with the mic in every other scene!

we just saw it in a pizza movie theater....there must have been at least 50 incidences of visible mic/boom in the movie! I began to wonder if it was some sort of inside joke...like they were trying to make a reference to B grade alien movies or something!
