I think that our young african american men are on the news so much for violent crimes and killings that most people look at them as just bad street thugs. I would love for our city to come together as one and do more to stop the violence. We are not talking to our youth or young adult women and men. We are not out on these streets enough. The lifes and stories of these people are not being told. So many of them think its okay to carry guns. And for people to put comments on here like who cares if the dope heads kill the dope dealers it shows that they have no more regard for the loss of the people being killed and the families affected then the people involved with the crimes themselves. I know this man. I believe he should be let go until proven innocent. I know all the good things he did, and I know bad things he did. I know he had children, I know he had skills and the potential to be a lot better then another man in jail convicted of murder. Did you know he pleaded not guilty. Did you ever stop and think for a minute that maybe he didn't do it. No because so many of them are found to be, and the news just assumes they are before all the facts are presented. Did you know one of the victims had nine children. Nine. He was a father and all the children lived with him. If we don't take the crime and murder seriously it will only get worse. Don't think its just in our so called "hoods". Husbands and wifes are losing there minds and killing each other, people are robbing gas stations left and right where at any time some one could be innocently shot and killed. STOP THINKING IT CAN'T BE YOU OR COME CLOSE TO YOU. Because I never in a million years thought that it would come this close to me. White, black, or whatever color there are lifes being lost. So will somebody please tell me what in the h*ll are we going to do about it.
