2,000 bikers deliver toys in 31-year-old Licking County tradition Updated at

The founder of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Toy Run and his small group of biker friends initially bought toys for children in need from the Family Toy Warehouse, which was then in the corner lot next to the Walmart. Seven years after the inaugural toy run in 1987, the store closed and Stowers moved the event across the street to Toys R Us, where it remained for the next 23 years.
