Man Cited in Gravel Spill That Prompted Pileup East of Sparks

Authorities have cited and fined a truck driver who lost his load of gravel and dirt and triggered a 22-vehicle pileup on Interstate 80. Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Dave Gibson says nine people were checked for minor or moderate injuries after the Monday morning incident about 17 miles east of Sparks.
