No, Omar is an Expo... he cannot recapture that magic. He has a great eye for talent but, his focus seems to be on assembling the best Latin players, instead of the best players (period). Just my opinion.

No thanks! Minaya, Wilpon and their talent scouts and coaches are still on the old boy buddy system. You hire talented individuals, not friends. The team is a mess from the field to the front office. The third highest payroll and nothing to show for it but a splendid collapse every year with non-performers.
The Mets should face the facts and seriously consider major change and rid themselves of complacent players and coaches. No more pity party, just results! |
