Hendry needs to work some G.D. magic this off season. 2009 was hands down his worst year with the organization and he better shape-up. There are multiple players on the Cubs right now with huge contracts and only a handful of these players delivered. I also do not understand how you put a stand-up guy like Reed Johnson in the same clubhouse as professional douchebag Bradley. Come on Hendry, get your stuff together.

I am glad this nightmare season is coming bto an end. What more can be said??? Bradley, Miles and Gregg simply BAd deals, PERIOD. Guys like Soto, Fontenot ,and "Fuku" were over rated or had really down years. Myself, I think Zambrano and Soto were simply over weight and played that way. I'm 70 years old and am dam* tired of waiting/L'm 'also running out of time. There needs to be a lot of "tinkering" done this winter and I'[m not sure Hendry is up to it!!!!!!!!!!

in my opinion, here's what i "feel".

1. get rid of Bradley,Gregg,Heilemann, & Miles.
2. tell Soto that HE NEEDS to get in shape!
3. if SOTO DOES get in shape, ok to keep Koye Hill,
otherwise, get a backup catcher that CAN hit!
4. Harden is obviously gone, unless the CUBS feel
he will be healthy & put him in the bullpen.
5. Baker IS a KEEPER.
6. Theriot has a nice BA,BUT,makes TOO MANY mental
mistake(baserunning) & errors. so, maybe the
CUBS can get a shortstop that can run the bases
& field.
7. Soriano: the CUBS are stuck with him. he needs
to cut down on strikeouts!
8. Kosuke Fukudome has been ok,BUT, a little more
POWER wouldn't hut.
9. Mike Fontenot fizzled after May. can he play
shortstop? does he have the range?
10. Zambrano is a "head case" & needs to get his
head into the game.
11. Jake Fox is a keeper.
12. Reed Johnson ALWAYS gives 100%
13. the word is out that MARK DEROSA WOULD LOVE to
come back to the CUBS! he is versatile & is a
Team Leader & a huge fan favorite. i would go
after him in a "HEARTBEAT"!
14. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!

p.s. and by the way KUDOS to DEREK LEE!!!!
30+ HOME RUNS & over 100 RBI'S. he has
only hit into a few DP'S!!! he IS the
MVC MOST VALUABLE CUB & let's NOT forget
the job that Aramis Ramirez did this year
despite "missing" a good part of the season.

in closing, i do have to say that the CUBS
"did" have an "unbelieveable" amount of inju-
ries which really hurt them! Jim Hendry
NEEDS to get together with Lou Pinella & the
"NEW" ownership after the season & put on
their thinking caps BEFORE making ANY
decisions! HEY CHICAGO WHAT DO YOU SAY
MARK DEROSA "COULD BE" COMING BACK, HOORAH!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aquarius

Keep calm and all will be well. You're feeling slightly fraught because there are so many demands on your time, and it won't help if you're trying to juggle some last-minute chores with some fun-filled social events. Get others to lend you a hand, or tell yourself that perfection is not an option right now and that you'll have to scale down your preparations accordingly.
