Sutter To Announce Layoffs At Santa Rosa Med Ctr.
Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa will announce details Thursday about 123 layoffs it is planning at its hospital on Chanate Road.
Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa spokeswoman Lisa Amador said Wednesday afternoon the layoffs will be "across the board" from administrative and managerial employees to floor staff. The medical center currently has 1,081 employees.
Of the 123 employees to be let go, 86 have benefits and 37 do not, Amador said. The layoffs do not include employees of Sutter Medical Foundation North Bay, Sutter VNA and Hospice and Sutter's breast care center on Steele Lane, Amador said.
