Bullies, victims more likely to consider suicide
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Victims of bullying -- and the bullies themselves - are at increased risk of suicidal thinking and are also more likely to attempt suicide than their peers who aren't involved in bullying, according to a systematic review of 37 studies conducted in 16 different countries.
And those who were both bullies and victims were at greatest risk, Dr. Young Shin Kim of Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, and Dr. Bennett Leventhal of the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago found.

Rell Touts Public Transportation, Van Pools For Commuters
Gov. M. Jodi Rell is inviting people to take advantage of a state-sponsored program that gives 10 free bus rides to new riders.
The commuting options offer relief from high gas prices, Rell said. Options include buses, trains and telecommuting.
'This is a perfect opportunity for those folks who have been giving some serious thought to commuting because of high gas prices but aren't sure if it is for them,' Rell said in a press release.
The state is also offering a free voucher for a three-day van-pooling trial.
