(AP) _ Wildlife officials are awaiting the results of tests to determine what killed several hundred fish at a Lawton lake.&#xD; &#xD; Fisheries biologist Larry Cofer says hundreds of carp, shad, crappie and catfish died at the Liberty Lake and some of the living fish are showing signs of stress. The lake is a popular fishing spot in Lawton.&#xD; &#xD; Cofer says he hopes to have the results of the tests back by the end of the week, but he may never know the exact cause of the deaths.&#xD; &#xD; Cofer says the problem seems to be limited to fish, and there don't appear to be any contaminants that would pose a danger to humans.<br/>read more  |  comments: 2<br/>
