New Moped Rules

I can't believe you sat and took the time to type all that out. Are you a lame brain? What in sam hell does watching a TV have to do with moped drivers driving recklessly without insurance? Nothing in your rebuttal had an ounce of value nor did anything you said pertain to what I said. If you want to play with the big dogs, try keeping up.  (Aug 17, 2012 | post #36)

New Moped Rules

Well said!! There are a few reasons people drive mopeds: 1. Save on gas 2. They're minors 3. They can't afford a car 4. (and the majority) Their license were suspended. Drivers of vehicles such as cars, trucks etc. Have certain responcibilites that comes with the privelage to drive: 1. We stand in line for what seems like hours at the DMV to renew our license. 2. We pay an inflated fee to renew said license. 3. We have to pay sales tax when we purchase our vehicles OR when we go to have it registered and plated. 4. We pay more money to get the registration and plates. 5. Before we can get license to begin with, we have to jump through hoops proving our identity. 6. We have to take a written and road test ensuring the State of Indiana, that we do in fact know the laws of the road. 7. We legally are required to obtain insurance for said vehicle. 8. We are required to wear our seat belts. Moped Drivers: .....I'm drawing a blank, what requirements do they have???........ I see young kids driving doubled up with no helmets, no plates, no way to indentify themselves... Driving recklessly, but it's somehow ok because the bike doesn't weigh much?  (Aug 16, 2012 | post #34)

Bill's Diner

If it's bad food, don't eat there. If they don't pay well, don't work there. If you enjoy the food, eat there. Such a wasted thread.  (Aug 12, 2012 | post #50)

Talk About A Hate Crime

Not all people are capable of intelligent thought/debate. Some of us are, so I think while we disagree on certain issues, we utilized the thread in the correct fashion. While the thread didn't begin with a particular issue, we turned it into one by being real about the eluded topic. Therefore, I think those of us who are here for thought provoking debate, are taking an otherwise useless post and getting to the heart of things.  (Aug 3, 2012 | post #35)

Talk About A Hate Crime

Oh "dude" I am anything but angry lol. 1. I don't drink, but I have nothing against those who drink responcibly and frankly I don't care one way or the other if they open shop on Sundays or not. That's between them and IMO God. 2. I am a happily married woman married to a man. (You called me dude, but I would have thought my name would clue people in that I'm female). I think IMO men laying with men and women laying with women is wrong HOWEVER that to is between them and God. I'm not without sin, therefore I wont judge them. 3. Go buy your wine on Saturday. Cross into New Paris and visit the carry out. It's really not worth getting so upset over, but it's not the "Christians " fault that legislatures pass certain laws, as we all know, average citizens have little pull in this country, even when we vote!  (Aug 3, 2012 | post #30)

Blaming Christians because the State Government wrote laws restricting Sunday alchool sales, is as ignorant as blaming homosexuals for every case of aids/hiv out there. Second of all, while you are ranting that people need to stop fretting over what gays do, the gay community is ranting over what chick-fil-a believes and does... Chick-fil-a made the statement that THEY didn't believe in gay marriage and don't support the bill. At no time did they refuse to hire or sell to gays, they've done nothing wrong other than speaking out their beliefs. I honestly think you people are making a big deal out of nothing. If you don't like chick-fil-a's stance on gay marriage don't patronize them, period, but let's try not to be idiots about it...  (Aug 3, 2012 | post #22)

If buying beer on Sundays was denied because of Christians, other states would have the "No Sunday" sell policy. For instance, I'm pretty sure there are churches and Christians in Ohio, yet they don't prohibit Sunday booze sells.  (Aug 2, 2012 | post #17)

IMO: Being gay is wrong, however, Judge Not Least Ye Be Judged comes to mind. I say marriage for example IMO is between a man and a woman, with the intent of procreating. Two men/two women can not physically produce children the natural way, therefore you're not meant/created to be with the same sex. While that is my opinion, I do believe in seperation of church and state, so if the belief (mine) that homosexuality is wrong, comes from a Biblical standpoint, it is infringing on the statue of Seperation of Church and State. Basically if you don't like gay marriage, don't have a gay wedding. Let God sort it out in his time. Boycotting chick-fil-a because of their acknowledgement of their beliefs, that's a little (perhaps a lot) lame. To each their own. For all you know BK and McDonalds franchises are anti gay-marriage. Stop doing business with people who stand on their convictions and you'll soon run out of businesses.  (Aug 2, 2012 | post #9)

Why is David Klein still free?

The most important things are the children involved. I understand your fears Bonnie, the majority of comments are anger towards David, and thoughts and prayers for the kids. The best way for this thread to go "away" is by not pushing it up the list with further comments. Just a friendly suggestion if you really want to see this thread disapear.  (Aug 1, 2012 | post #19)
