2012 Honda CR-V

Began with a brand new 2012 Honda CR-V. When I purchased the car new, I noticed the windows had a telephone number etched on all of them (Cell Phone company). Since the purchase, parts that were coded with a VIN number remain untouched although some look as though they are forged. Parts that don't have VIN numbers have been replaced such as all the upholstered seats (the foam in the ones that were installed is old and the headrest is broke on the back seat), steering column, the back black panel and the hex unlock is stripped on both unlocks for removing the hatch panel; all door panels inside all doors have been taken off and the weather stripping has been removed and old weatherstripping has been replaced; the tire rims on all but one tire has been replaced along with the tires and believe the Monroe Shocks have been replaced the standard shocks. The car rides worse than a wagon. Had all work done on it at the dealership and it seemed to run fine, although the oil change before this last, after a while, the engine started knocking. The motor itself has color coded dots everywhere (blue, pink, etc. and what looks like fingernail polish) and they were not on it when I purchased it new. When I purchased it new, the car was quiet and rode and drove smooth, now it is noisy and rides terrible. I took it back to the dealership and told them what was wrong and instead of fixing it, they brought it back around and handed me paperwork telling me that it MIGHT need aligning. The alignment was fine when I took it in and I thought rotating the tires would help, but they did NOTHING. Then, I brought it home and noticed I wasn't getting the gas mileage I did before I took it in and returned the next day, only because it would run at 40 mph without pressing the gas pedal. They took it around and within a few minutes brought it back and said it was find, but it stopped doing that, but is now doing it again. I left and noticed that the ride was worse than it was before. I looked around at the tires and they looked as though they had been in some kind of oil that had been dried and a lot of the tread was gone on three tires AND the rims were black on the inside whereas, the rim on the tire that I had to replace because of a nail on the inside tire wall couldn't be patched and needed replacing but the dealership didn't even get the exact same tire that comes on these cars and to my disbelief, that rim was still clean and wasn't covered in black. All other three tires had been switched out and were not mine, just exactly like most of the parts on my car had been switched out. It is garage kept and I lock the doors when exiting the vehicle, but this is not the first time that this has happened with a new vehicle that I purchased myself. Could it be that when taking your vehicle to a dealership to have work done, that they are making money by swapping out your new parts for old parts and putting old parts on and in your vehicle. THIS IS HAPPENING and I don't know who is doing this, but I do know that one tire had been switched at the dealership the last time I went back to have them check what was going on and what would make the car run a a high rate of speed for not using the gas pedal.  (Apr 30, 2016 | post #1)

Gay Marriage - Lincolnton, NC

The older generation sits back and says the world is coming to an end. The world isn't coming to an end, the people on it are. Women do not need to marry women and men do not need to marry men.  (Apr 1, 2015 | post #97)

If a son or daughter has been arrested for committing a crime, what lengths would you go to get him or her out of jail? How much bond would you be willing to post or would you leave him or her in jail fearing they would only get out and do the same crime over?  (Nov 26, 2013 | post #1)

A little change of pace

May I have the pleasure of responding to the comment above? Just what is the problem? Why would anyone be upset about the investigations? You think everyone in Cherryville is guilty of wrong doing, maybe you are hiding something. This is typical of a criminal that is always trying to find out what someone else is doing, to hide their own guilt. What do you think? A.E. Newman I don't know what your problem is, but you really don't have compassion for anyone.  (Aug 2, 2013 | post #21)
