I do not think you know what that word means. Obsessed???!!! Abhorred is more like it. Just remember, when you get there, if you try to defend yourself against a thug or rapist, you will be charged with assault. NOW you want to differentiate between felons. A while back you were lumping ALL felons in the same category. Now you are being specific. We were trying to show you a difference between the severity of the crime and the felon. A felon is a felon, therefore the bank manager of your story could easily hire a non embezzler. Although, I quibble. A felon does not have the right to be hired, no one does (except some select minorities that can cry discrimination). Felons do have the right to exercise their 2nd Amendment, irregardless of what the law says. Just because it is the law does not make it constitutional. Someday, when we have enough enlightened people in the country, we will abolish laws that infringe on rights and focus on laws that regulate mis behavior.  (19 hrs ago | post #8934)

If you have your gun with you and you are out in the public, I believe they would take away your gun and arrest you. If you did not have your ccw. Your ccw can be arbitrarily removed from you. Will you have me believe that you are OK with being disarmed, by law, when you are away from home. How is it OK to infringe on your 2nd Amendment rights if you are not at home. It is true you can keep your gun at home. In PA. However, you are very close to NYC. Where you do have to have the permission of a police official to own a gun. I guess as long as you think those laws will not apply to you, you have no problem trying to help others maintain their rights. "And when they came for me, there was no one left to protest". The best way to win a battle is to fight it on the other guys turf. Just ask anyone in Poland. I have my CCW. I think it is important for us to fight for those of us who are currently infringed. It helps keep the anti gun nuts away from my gun. They will not stop until no one can have a gun legally. Including you. Despite his many faults, the man figured out a long time ago that infringing on 2nd Amendment Rights was never a solution to ANY problem. Unlike the Brit Gov. The UK is the only country in Europe to see their total rime rise while the rest of the continent saw their decrease. They have banned knives, have discouraged self defense and are now trying to get broken antique guns banned too. And their politicians, who somehow keep getting elected by an informed public, keep saying they only need one more law. And therein lies your problem. Guns in your house may indeed be a problem. It is ludicrous to assume that anyone else would have the same problems as folks in your home. Yet, I would still not have the gall to presume that I have any right to infringe on yours. Unlike you, and apparently enough unenlightened people with enough time on their hands to sit around answering polls. I fing it interesting that as soon as your statistics no longer support your outlandish claims, you trivialize them. They seemde to be very important to you until proven irrelevant of non supportive. I have never had a house fire. Many many people have experiences similar to mine. We all recommend that people cancel their home fire insurance. Sound familiar. Where oh where to begin. 1st off, you cretin, the 2nd Amendment is in the Bill of Rights. I know the brain damaged have trouble understanding the the USC is not the same document as the B O R's. USC starts like this We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. and ends with the beginning of the Bill of Rights. Worship (ie religion) has led to more deaths throughout history than you seem to be aware of. You seem to be willing to trade rights for safety. Most of us are not. For example, you post a survey taken right after Columbine happened. Here is link to the same survey group, who did a poll, just one year later. Well, it is obvious you have made no attempt to look up gun defense stats. The Brady Bunch claims it is "only" a few hundred thousands uses per year. The researchers have put it between 1.5 and 2 million times per year a gun is used to prevent a crime. This post of yours shows absolutely no knowledge what so ever of crime stats and victim injury when the "victims " don't resist. Jesus buddy, can you at least get some of your claims accurate.
