15 months later I still have same opinion, For the first time ever, Northern lights casino is going to give some cash to the city, for whatever they need it for. WOW it took over 11 years, to give back.... I heard a few days ago a wealthy retired couple made up a scholarship. everyone was eligible, ( excepy natives). They arent racist. they didnt include them because they believed that they had enough support channels.. Maybe they do maybe they dont, thats a much more complex topic. Natives advertise "First Nation First" Must be metis why is it all in the name Saskatchewan Indian Institute of technology certain places ( no names) hires less qualified , over qualified whites. Im not saying the nonwhites werent qualified.. this particular one was not. A qualified Native lost a job to another underqualified native. Why? Becuase the underqualified one, was Native, and was from the reserve that the chief was from. the qualified native, sued, and won... one years salary, of what should of been her job  (May 18, 2009 | post #3)

It is true in a sense , I'm sure it does happen. Your kids not telling classmates, is just a precaution. they can tell everyone that they want, .. BUt, Kids are Drug smart these days the Internet makes everyone knowledgeable. it is best for them to say nothing even to good friends, but I dont know your kids , I have no clue, It seems like teens are experimenting with drugs and alcohol younger and younger , im not sure if this is the case where you reside. They can tell their best friend, just make sure they dont broadcast it, because someone that isnt there friend may here, no worries, its just medication,\ but just watch for little signs short pills exhaustion in the middle of the day extremem irritability ect random cash in pocket,. Some places It may be a problem, others not, the best thing to do to administer the pills to them, and count them. it wont hurt.  (May 18, 2009 | post #112)

I am all about survival, and accomplishment, in the work week, and then the empty weekend comeun unplanned (but earned) time off , can be very bad for me,. It is sad that mental health has such a negative stigma in society. Homelessness wouldn't exist to the degree that it exists today if everyone cared more for everyone else , and didnt judge them for being homeless or not. It is good something is being done, but society has to completly change its attitude towards drug addiction, and alcoholism, if it ever wishes to help the homeless.  (Dec 25, 2008 | post #1)

where you do draw the 'what employee should know, and not know line.... it seems easy. If you have ADD, I guess I should of mentioned that....but should I say, Im a struggling alcoholic, and compulsive gambler, severe consant anxiety, GENETIC ANXIETY... SO FUCK OFF WITH YOUR " I WAS SHY AS A KID AND I GREW OUT OF IT". of course not...but where is this invinsible line I got fired because of the symptoms of ADD, but supposedly they had no idea its not one of those things that are totally invinsible. maybe, it just cause I know what to look for ,... for everything.... but its only theories and i keep it too myself.. but this is different I got fired because of ADD side effects. I got rehired, cause I told them I had ADD and that was why,... I was HATING ALL THE tedious shit.... so they rehired me... different department... but now there is a whole other set of stuff... much much better though.. total fluke though BUT ... is there a cure or is there not? for social anxiety, chronic nervousness, depression based anxiety, NO there isnt but some things may work for you.. yes... but its not a blanker. Lack of confidence, is not the underlying problem to severe anxiety... of course.. I lack confidence, but thats an after effect. Genes, Environment, and Compulsion, impulsion, are much more reason..... but hey ... they want to throw me.... a severely socially anxious person in the face of customer service... too boost my confidence... I try anything... I really will... but ... if it doesnt Ill know exactly why... sever social anxiety... is not mild shyness....  (Nov 29, 2008 | post #1)

I agree with you. Life may suck, but it would suck a hell of a lot more with my ADD medication. But it would also be a lot better without alcoholism. but all in all .. it is a complicated web. reoccuring depression combined with social anxiety disorder, combined with ADD, combined with family history of alcoholism, combined with alcoholism, and mood disorder, constant rage ect.  (Aug 10, 2008 | post #60)
