Hispanics fear profiling under new Arizona law

STV wrote: "Criminologis ts cite other factors, including studies that show cities with a high number of Hispanic immigrants tend to have low crime ratesEver hear the phrase "'Cause, remember: no matter where you go... there you are"? Where does one draw the "where you sleep" boundary in this context? If STV had said something like 'in cities with high numbers of pious law-abiding citizens the crime rates are low', would you chime in with something as stupid as "Don't sh!t where you sleep" because you have a bone to pick with them?  (Feb 6, 2011 | post #64097)

You guys made the case, now support it instead of tail-tucking when challenged. Try again: Do you really expect returning soldiers to desire menial jobs, or that the jobs they're qualified for are being held by illegals? Let's see some data to support that.  (Jan 30, 2011 | post #4048)

You are of course referring to #4018 where I ASKED, "Do you really expect returning soldiers to desire menial jobs..." Now where did I say you said anything, like YOU said I did?? The 1st Amendment guarantees your Freedom of Bleat. I would not try to silence even the most idiotic. You make me leaugh. Try again to make some kind of connection between illegals holding jobs and returning soldiers suffering for it. Use some logic this time, maybe some facts.  (Jan 29, 2011 | post #4033)

Criticize them for what they do, then do it yourself and try to explain how you are any better than your enemies. Pot - BE kettle.  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #4026)

Do you really expect returning soldiers to desire menial jobs, or that the jobs they're qualified for are being held by illegals? Let's see some data to support that. No disrespect for vets (I'm one) but to choose a combat MOS and expect to find work in the private sector isn't very realistic. The military used to be a good career before we got into endless optional wars.  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #4018)

GFY, goober. If someone disagrees with your kind you seem impotently compelled to invalidate them. No one's exonerating anything, ahole. But YOU are falsely accusing a vet of being an enemy. Eat sh!t.  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #4016)
