Wowwwwww, here we go again! Again, the whole family looked the other way!! That young man had to be in therapy just like Joseph needed to be when he was 39. Austrian people really need the support of their Government. People need to be thought how to watch each other within the family and also neighborhood watch is very important.Also they need to be encouraged to report anything suspicious no matter how dangerous it might be, re assured that they will get all the help and support! The amount and frequency of similar events will surely result in Psychological Health Professional and Institution deficiency in Austria. I am sure the International contribution to the cause will be needed and offered. Austria might become Europe's Psychological Treatment Center in the near future. The country is already the Center of Classical Music which is known to be the most therapeutic of all!! (May 15, 2008 | post #10)

Those children and grand children did not choose to be born to atrocities neither were given the choice to escape it. But of course he was sexually abusing the girls; he first started with Kerstin downstairs, when she was ??? age, then Kerstin got sick, he moved on to the 15 years old upstairs. Why do you think he brought the 2 baby girls upstairs in the first place? So he will never run out of his teenage supply!!!! Rosemarie has been the sickest, most selfish, demonic, ruthless mother one can ever imagine........ It really doesn't matter anymore if she had ever known the reality about the dungeon. What that woman did in the past by taking Joseph back in while she only had 4 children after his 18 months in jail, is unforgivable. I would have aborted my uterus out of my own body if no one else accepted to do it!!! and bleed to death! I would go on exile to a foreign country with my 4 kids, seek protection from this monster. Or worse, I would kill him with rat poison or a sharp knife while he was asleep.. Instead she kept giving birth to 3 more so he can continue the abuse. That's very true! Turkey is a Muslim country. Turkey also has all the natural resources it needs to survive on it's own. I hope it will not join the EU and stay detached from all other countries but that's geographically impossible. US needs Turkey in the Middle East. I think you meant Elizabeth, well, if that mother of her's knew that she's been raped since 11 and was locked up downstairs too and didn't say or do anything, I think she's sicker than her husband.!!! Not too many is buying her story already and she's being questioned this week, let's just wait and hear the confessions she will make or hide. Hello again, Detective Mom, Even you were certain that Rosemarie had no clue about anything that went on! How couldn't she be??? These are your words: Rosemarie was living with a man who was a convicted rapist. Why on earth did she allow him back into the home? At the very least she is one stupid woman. At the worst she is an evil monster too. A tenant said he saw Rosemarie hauling groceries with a wheel barrel into the basement. I wonder what else we will be hearing when her interrogation is over. If she comes to you and asks you why you're acting that way, tell her you don't understand the language she's speaking, and you don't know her!! No matter how controlling and abusive of a husband she had, Rosemarie was a mother and her daughter has been raped by her notoriously criminal father at the age 11!!! How could she not notice?? How ?????? Everyone else knows but her?????? They took turns taking trips. When Rosemarie came back from her holiday Joseph went to Thailand. Why? If she didn't know anything??? You will see, more witness confessions come out more we will find out that Rosemarie knew a lot. Maybe she was a victim of abusive parents herself and that all seemed normal to her. Maybe she didn't know that was her daughter in that dungeon but someone else. Trying to cover up her husbands one of many crimes. Hi Didem, it's nice to see someone from Istanbul finally posted a comment! I've been following-up on this horror story since it broke down in the news. Joseph has been beaten to death each day of his childhood by his demonic mother. He's been committing rapes and assault since he was a teenager. He's been in jail many times before and had a long criminal record. The Austrian authorities just looked the other way. They let him get away with very light sentences and erased all his criminal records after 15 years. They let him build a dungeon up to a much bigger dimension than it was legally allowed. Never checked on him. They have not investigated enough to find where Elizabeth was. They let him adopt and take custody of 3 babies he said were left at his door. Austria is not such a big and crowded country like Turkey. Only 8.3 million in population what's that as much as Izmir??? Look at now, they will let him get the lightest sentence again, 15 years!! if they can prove he killed the baby he threw in the furnace and if Kerstin dies at the hospital, he may get 20. His lawyer will get him out and he will spend the rest of his life in a psycho rehab.center. He will never get the punishment he really deserves! That's why there are so many pedophiles and rapists in those countries... that's really a shame, I pity all the women and children who live in those countries......... (May 13, 2008 | post #8)

J.F. has hauled 17 lorries (200 tonnes) of earth out of the cellar. He brought in tonnes of building materials, tiles, wood, plasterboards, a washer, sinks, plumbing etc., they suspect there are more rooms behind the brick wall that separates the 60sqm area where his victims lived. Not a neighbor, a tenant, or his wife and children saw that??? Nobody helped him carry and build?? There's so much more to that horror story.
