Holding Barack Obama Accountable
This is the most pernicious fabrications I've seen in a long time. Do they really think that people will not see through all the libel? (Feb 16, 2008 | post #2)
Pastor: IRS probes Huckabee endorsement
As a pastor of a church, Wiley Drake should not be publicly endorsing a articular candidate or a political party. Otherwise, he should be paying taxes like the rest of us. Which I hope he will if he is found guilty of political endorsements. (Feb 14, 2008 | post #2)
Clinton leads among gay super delegates
The Clintons have never come through for gays when the chips were down. Think of DOMA and DADT and other non-fulfilled promises they made. I would never trust them again. I will give my support to Obama. (Feb 13, 2008 | post #2)
Why does Clinton attract more GLBT voters than Obama?
I know what we get with the Clintons: lies and betrayals, DOMA and DADT. With Obama, at least there's hope. (Feb 9, 2008 | post #13)
Conservtive Evangelical Bishop quotes Jesus as he backs same-se...
What a totally nasty reply! Did you get this way from reading the Bible? (Feb 7, 2008 | post #4)
Honeymoon is over for gay weddings
Maybe they're discovering that marriage isn't all it's cracked up to be. (Feb 3, 2008 | post #24)
Do certain environments PROMOTE homosexuality?
I voted no. However, I must add that certain environments make it easier for homosexuals to allow themselves to be known as such because of lack of fear of being harmed and/or persecuted. (Feb 3, 2008 | post #477)
Documentary offers Bible lessons in gay rights
I saw the movie. It's not the best I've seen, but I thought it was well done and put forth its point quite well. Some say that Jesus taught to hate sin but love the sinner. These comments above indicate hatred of the sinner. They are not following what is supposedly the teaching of Jesus. (Feb 2, 2008 | post #5)
I personally would never vote for Mitt Romney, but the hate-filled manner in which you speak of him because of his faith stuns me. Are you an Evangelical Christian by any chance? (Feb 2, 2008 | post #2)
As an Arizonan I would not vote for McCain. However, gay folks have a right to vote for whom they please and support. If he wins, they'll get what they deserve. (Feb 1, 2008 | post #1)
12 Pittsburgh-area Episcopal leaders oppose bolting church
Now, let's hope their convictions are strong enough for them to do something about if they can. (Feb 1, 2008 | post #1)
Some Patriots see beyond NFL record book
You guys missed this little tidbit. Maciel Dead 31 Jan 2008 04:00 pm One of the most powerful and well-connected child-abusers in the Catholic hierarchy, Marcial Maciel Degollado, has died. Rocco's obit is here. Benedict made some efforts to hold him accountable for countless crimes, but, like most of the child-abusers with strong Vatican connections, Maciel was never prosecuted: The community's formal notice said that Maciel passed away "in the bosom of the Catholic church." My God!! What has the world come to? For the first time ever, I agree with the Rat! (Jan 31, 2008 | post #3)
Amnesty: Help Stop Gay Executions in Iran
I admire the work of Amnesty International. But what can be done when you are dealing with religious fanatics in Iran who think they are acting in the name of God by killing gays? There is no reasoning with a religious fanatic as we've often seen on this website. They think they speak for God because they follow a book of some kind. (Jan 30, 2008 | post #12)
Cheney’s Daughter Joins Romney Camp
Get your facts straight. Obama belongs to the United Church of Christ, one of the few, if any, denominations that is open to and welcoming of gay and lesbian people. You know, lies don't help your cause. People soon see through them. (Jan 28, 2008 | post #5)
