Yeah, degenerates are still rampant (judging from a casual perusal of the threads) but there are many intelligent, world-wise and knowledgable people around; as someone said, you need a pretty concentrated sifter and thick skin! I haven't been around other than some brief reading on weekends, but you have to consider the source, and the circumstances. People are getting desperately uncouth in their decisions, thanks to the DE@ and other agencies following the draconian laws set into motion by the stigmitism set forth on narcotic pain meds (More than likely, celebrities and youths ODing prompted a public outcry for bueracrats issuing more BS laws on the public. It's a sad state of affairs, (sorry for the short novel and rant!)  (Jan 11, 2013 | post #25)

I thought I saw an eye doctor on an Alaskan island, but it turned out to be an optical Aleutian. She was only a whiskey maker, but he really loved her still. A rubber band pistol was confiscated from algebra class because it was a weapon of math disruption. The butcher backed into the meat grinder and got a little behind in his work. No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery. A dog gave birth to puppies near the road and was cited for littering. A grenade thrown into a kitchen in France would result in Linoleum Blownapart. Two silk worms had a race. They ended up in a tie. Time flies like an arrow. Fruit-flies like a banana.  (Dec 23, 2012 | post #253)

Wow, this has a touch of thinly veiled hatred; And I agree with you, Mr. Obvious, (great name) But there was a time when I would have tried to be more diplomatic, like TimeToChoose has. Unfortunately, I've reached a point where I can't "turn away" anymore. I used to think oh well, it's merely words on a screen, and it's not my business anyways... But I'm sick and tired of the hassling and posting personal crap on a public Internet forum - not only is it inappropriate, in some instances, it violates laws ... Some ppl say public domain, fair game, but that depends the nature of the posts and content in question, and how a judge views it, were it actually to go to trial ... I would think, as smart as some people who hassle others here are, they would consider this, and possible repercussions; lately, the number of slander, defamation, violations of privacy issues, and violations of third-party forums privacy rules are all in the rise. I saw a case where Twitter pulled a guy off for making obscene statements involving children, also inappropriate comments pertaining to the Newtown shootings; but, a few people took it to another level, and posted this degenerates (he was out of line) personal info, home address, and even home phone number! This man lost his job over this, and is suing the individuals AND twitter for endangering HIS OWN child, so I guess someone is going to get a taste of his own medicine. What comes around does go around.  (Dec 20, 2012 | post #199)

In numerology every number has a corresponding letter associated with it. The date 12-21-12 reads as, A-B-B-A-A-B. When you consider that the Hebrew language is read from right to left, this date would read BA ABBA. The Hebrew translation for BA ABBA is "Father comes / is coming" –Mayan knowledge is power; Maya prophecies ..  (Dec 19, 2012 | post #118)

People want to listen to a message, word from Jah. This could be passed through me or anybody. I am not a leader. Messenger. The words of the songs, not the person, is what attracts people. - -Bob Marley  (Dec 19, 2012 | post #116)
